[Brett Buckwalter] Engine Builder- Racing for 18 years Brett is the 2009 Pro Kart TaG Expert Champion. Brett's career began at the ripe old age of 12 and he has racked up multiple National and Regional karting championships.

Steve was also runner-up in the U.S. Formula Atlantic Championship and has a New Zealand Championship title as well.
Steve has driven almost every type of road racing car possible, including: GTP, GTO, Atlantic, Indy Lights, Formula 2000, Formula Ford, S2000, Sports Racers, Koni Cup, Historic Can-Am, Historic F1, Vintage Lotus sports cars.
Steve has also worked as a test and development driver for teams, car manufactures, and tire companies such as Raven Race Cars, Star Race Cars, Yokohama, Ohlins.
As a team manager, Steve has put together championship and race-winning teams for several high profile organizations. Lynx Racing dominated the Formula Atlantic Championship for 10 years with numerous race wins and driver championships. Finlay Motorsports won in the prestigious Daytona Prototypes class in its first year of competition.
Drivers who have been coached by Cameron include Indy 500 winners Buddy Rice and Sam Hornish Jr., Champ Car drivers, Memo Gidley, Michael Valiante, NASCAR driver Michael McDowell and ALMS GT driver Bryan Sellers.
Out of room? Tired of hauling your kart to the track every time you want to run a few laps? Or the expense and hassle of a trailer? No problem, Cameron Karting can store your Kart, stand and track boxes for you for a nominal monthly fee. We can also transport your kart to and from the track. The Shop is accessible during normal business hours, on race weekends and by appointment only and by Cameron Karting employees only so you can rest assured your stuff is safe.
Many people invest thousands of dollars into karting only to find that there is a lot more to it than meets the eye. Without any trackside assistance many karters get discouraged when mechanical reliability and chassis set-up begins to become an issue. Many karters have no idea how to prepare, tune, adjust or maintain a kart. Learning to drive and race a kart can be a huge mystery as well. Our seasoned staff has the expertise to get your kart set-up just right for you. It's a great way to learn how to work on your kart, make setup changes, and improve your driving and racing skills.

When it's time to service your kart Cameron Karting mechanics can perform all the necessary services your kart needs to stay competetive. We have a fully equiped race shop for all your karting needs and our staff has the equipment, parts and expertise for any karting job. Our services include detailing, tire mounting, alignment, welding, brake service, scaling, and complete motor rebuilds. Give us a call or stop by our shop. Customers may fill out a work order in person or contact us by phone for an appointment and an estimate on parts and labor.
Arrive & Drive
Do you want to drive instead of wrench? For those that want to race without all the hassle of racing Cameron Karting now offers Arrive & Drive for our kart storage clients. With a simple phone appointment, kart storage clients can have their kart ready to drive, in a “turn key” fashion. Your kart will be unloaded, lubed, tire pressured, warmed up, and ready to drive. Once you're finished our staff will clean, "nut & bolt", and load everything back to the shop for maintenance and storage. Call us for pricing and details.

Cameron Karting has real racing world experience with kart racing engines as our engines have put drivers on the podium at both club and national level events. Cameron Karting has on staff, Brett Buckwalter, a multiple national champion in both 4-cylce and 2-cycle kart racing. Brett has years of engine building and tuning experience. Brett will give your Rotax, ICC or TaG engine the proper attention it needs, whether you want to find more power or for a simple rebuild.
With our in-house machine shop Cameron Karting can handle all your machining and fabrication jobs including carburetor blueprinting, crank rebuilding and truing, cylinder honing & porting as well as dyno tuning for Tag/Rotax engines.
